Just wonder what yall think. I've heard that one of the companys making exhaust for out trucks is really cheap and not worth buying. Which one is that?

I have one from DPS and I think it's the same as Diamond eye's. I know DPS was a Private label maker for a long time. The only problem with the DPS is lack of hangers so you need to make your own. Not sure about the Diamond Eye! I'll say this, Aluminized steel means nothing! I would be more concerned with the gauge of steel used more then the coating.

The Diamond Eye exhaust systems are good. I have one and mostly like it. I say mostly, because I have an after market turbo. I have to modify the down pipe to fit it. On a stock turbo, they fit fine.

I installed the diamond eye 4 " system on my d350 stock turbo and it fit very good! I installed it all by myself...another set of hands would have been welcome, but thats how well it fit.Can be done by one person.

The turbo I have has a HX40 turbin housing and I just bought a downpipe for it for a $100. Pretty excited about a 4'' exhaust on there. I get to get rid of the vary-ing size setup that was on it when I bought the truck. Kinda thinking about making my own exhaust. Can I run a straight pipe exhaust legaly in NC? Anybody have experiance with that?

I installed a Diamond eye kit on my 1993 W250 and really like it, took about 2 hours to install and it fits good, i had issues with my front axle yoke hitting the down pipe, i called diamond eye and they sent a revised replacement right out, they customer service is great. I will be buying another kit for my other 1993 W250 soon to be W350 project. The diamond eye kit fit alot better and was easier to install then my MBRP 5" on my 1999 2500.

I've got a down pipe from a buddy of mine. It's a 4'' pipe that he assures me will fit our trucks. He ran a 98 tho. I'm gonna google first gen down pipes to try to compare.
