if you want to use propane you should vac the system and then start fresh..

atleast that is what I was told to do and how I have done it..

the charge may be fine and you may havean expansion block stuck open causing the system to run but not build enough pressure to cool properly, also do you have free flow through your condenser, via fan clutch, going down the road, ect... you have to cool the freon to turn to a high press liquid for the system to cool. mine did build real high head pressure, and doesnt cool real well until i cleaned my charge air cooler out and put on a new fan clutch. does any one know of a good aftermarket fan set up by the way?
