Wrecked the dodge, fender trim questions!
Yep smashed a hackberry tree. Ruined the front right fender, grill, core support and some fender trim. The passenger side door wont open because the fender is jammed into it. Ill spare you the details and get to the point. Ive got most of the parts rounded up to fix it but Im short an intercooled core suppport and some illusive fender trim.
Does anybody have any info on where to get some fender trim OR has anyone tried out the bushwacker OEM's?? Im sure the body shop thats doing it can get some originals, but Im afraid of what will appear on the bill. If the insurance pans out Im going with a 4" lift, so I think I could pull off the bushwacker look but Id have to see some first. So if you have some pics or ideas let em rip.
and perhaps if you have a core support laying around.........
A pic of what once was.....

Your right side looks just like my left side a few weeks ago. fender trim cost $47.45 according to my bill from the body shop (Insurance paid it). It looks just like the original.

Thats what I read somewhere, the +-200 part. Ive got full coverage on it and the adjuster said today that its quite a bit of dough in parts. He was a tiny bit worried about what all of it was going to cost in fear of it being totaled. He said if it is either way they cut me a check and I go on my way. If it does get totaled itll be from cost of repair not damage. It drives like it always has, but it will be looking a lot different than it has here in a few weeks While I have yall here, what do you think of the black and silver look on a first gen, keep the two tone silver OR go for solid silver, whadaya think? Heres what Im talkin about with the black and silver

I just went through the exact same thing except mine was on the left side and I used a large spruce tree. Also, My bumper was sticking straight out the front.
I also had full coverage and they did not total mine. Total parts 1730.61 Labor 1806.00. Keep in mind that some of my parts cost was for shipping to Alaska.

Wow that is super cheap. Ive already had a body shop here in town look at it and it looks like itll be close to 3k. The adjuster noticed today that the whole front end is knocked over about a half an inch (just the body). So itll take some hammerin'. I still havent gotten over the sickness I feel when I see it though.

That black and silver looks good, I just can not talk myself into doing a color change, I am pretty sure mine will be painted red and silver in place of the factory red and white, besides I scored a $400 gallon of Torch Red for a $100.
