I found this truck on ebay, and I am asking if anyone knows if the maunal would work in our trucks.

it saids it is a 1993 FORD F-700 CHIPPER DUMP. THIS TRUCK IS EQUIPPED WITH A 5.9 CUMMINS DIESEL AND A 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
So if i got the whole truck and and had all the peacies would it work.
I really want a manual. I do not like autos but the truck PO made and I am just taking it over. Thanks

Even if it was a 5600, which it is almost certainly not on a '93 F700, it would be a LOT of work.

You are very unlikely to find somebody with experience in putting a big truck tranny in an '85 crew cab.

It would be a one of a kind.

I thought about that kind of swap before I got ahold of my donor truck. If your truck is 4wd you will need to divorce the transfer case and find some way to make the clutch work. My guess is that it is not a hyd. clutch and the trans is probably a 6spd direct and not a 6spd over, so unless you have 3.07 rears you might want to check and make sure what configuration the tranny is.
