Oh I hope not, if I do hook up this line to inlet line on the filter and it is still doing it then is that pretty much obvious VE problems.........dead pump or could something like a peice from my shutoff solenoid be in there in a bad spot?

Yeah, the pieces wind up in the delivery valves but it rarely causes any trouble. It would be isolated to one or two cylinders anyway, not the sort of trouble you are seeing.

Ok well I hooked up a line to inlet tube to the filter and it still would not crank after I bled the injectors............

Does this sound like an air leak still or a bad IP, and are there anymore tests I might could run........?

Thanks as always

As a last resort, hook it up to the VE directly to rule out a leaky fuel heater assembly.

Would there be fuel in the oil if it was leaking?

The front pump seal or a ruptured lift pump diaphragm will put fuel in the oil.

Try a snort of ether to get it bled. Sometimes it can be hard to get all the air out and by then she's cranking too slow to fire.
