Wiring ?? after auto to nv4500 swap
I've been searching and can't find the answers.
How do I wire in the 3 wire plug for my 4500 swap?
I was told it is the neutral safe switch and the back up lights.
When I turn the key on the white wire has 12 volts.
There is a plug by the clutch pedal that I was told plugs to the clutch rod switch.
The truck is a 92 w250.
All the wires are stock and unmolested.
The color of the wires do not match any of the colors in my books or the diagrams I have found on line.
Any help or a point in the right direction would be great.

I'm away from my wiring diagrams right now.
Unless you really want a clutch switch, you can just leave that connector jumped.
The power wire is for reverse lights, one of the other wires goes back there. The third wire needs to be attached to a good ground so the starter can crank. You can sort it out by jumping each of the non-powered wires to ground and trying the starter. Then hook the other two wires to the reverse light switch and you are in business.

Was the connector plug under the dash suppossed to have a jumper wire in it? Mine did not.

That is true, the cruise won't work because the PCM thinks you are in park or neutral. The easy fix is to clip that brown wire where it goes into the PCM connector.
I'm going off memory and I thought the FSM said auto trucks had a jumper there, but I could be wrong and so could the FSM.
Try jumping the clutch switch plug and see if the truck starts.
