No mights about it, it's the pink one.

Before you go hacking up the harness, why not swing by the local Wal-Mart and get an adapter harness? That will let you wire the adapter to the new radio harness on a bench, then when you go out to the truck everything just plugs in.

i thouhgt about gettin an adapter but whoever had the truck before me cut the original wires as they come out of the harness, and only ran the switched 12v out to both the 12v constant and switched. im putting in an alpine so would it be good to get an adapter?

Nah, if it's hacked up already there's no point in getting an adapter. Happy soldering.

Sounds like a grounding issue.

Then fuse #15 is blown or you have a bad fusible link. (should be orange with a crispy section )

To get around all the factory JUNK, just run the all-the-time HOT to a known source, such as the HOT battery-post; be sure and fuse it close to the source.

On all my trucks, I eventually mount a HOT accessory terminal/post close to the battery.

One big cable feeds this terminal from the HOT battery-post, and all accessories get connected to it, thus keeping it off the battery-cable-ends.

There is a guy on fleabay sells reverse radio harness' you can put the correct connectors back on the hacked harness for under $10

No biggie today but subsequent radio swaps will be sooooo much easier IMHO.

That'll do it, but if you find and fix the problem with that fusible link it will fix your dome light and cargo light issues - they are on the same feed as the constant hot to the radio.
