Dish soap and a nylon cord is what my dad and I used. Soap up the gasket (the rubber thing) and put it on the windshield. Put the cord in the outer groove with the 2 ends meeting at the bottom. Lay the windshield in place starting from the bottom. Have some one pull the cord out slowly from the inside while some one pushes from the outside following the cord to the top. Then press in the lock strip.

Maybe I'll call a glass place, my wife and I tried that but it seems like the gasket was crooked on the windshield. It doesn't fit snug so maybe I just need a new gasket, it's very loose up top.

Never reuse a gasket, yes it may work sometimes but most of the time it will leak and/or not fit right

Original MOPAR gaskets are still avail thru the dealer. Just bought 1 for my crew cab. OEM is way better and less prone to leaks than the Chinese repro copies. JMO

Well this weekend I did some testing of... how to install a windshield seal.

http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/stor...l?cm_vc=-10005

I sprayed my seal down with that.. I started at the bottom first. Once that was in, I worked the top with a heavy duty pick. Actually took me about an hour to install it. Lube is key if you do it by yourself. I didn't use the sealant because I'll take the window back out of course. Honestly it wasn't that bad at all! First few days I was very frustrated and was pushing on the windshield. Use a hook/pick.. so nice.
