windsheild wiper problem
Well, we had ice here yesterday, tried to run the wipers but they hung up on some ice. Now they do not work, on intermittent, low or high. The fuse is good and the intermittent system under the dash works too but the wipers do not move. I checked the arms and they are free and move well. I guess the next thing to check is the motor. Any ideas guys?

The plastic insert your available at most auto parts stores in the help section. When I did mine I removed the windshield wiper pivots and install them outside of the vehicle. I believe there is a sticky about that subject. Anyway just a warning there is a right and a left pivot.
Good luck, Mike

old threads are your friends...
This old thead provides some details regarding the wiper bushing replacement:

And I found a pair of channel-locks to be the single most useful tool in forcing the four shafts into the new bushings. A tiny bit of lithium grease also helps.
