Will this tire/rim combo work on a stock height truck?

Ok, so I'm looking to get a set of 285/75R16 Toyo Open Country M/Ts within the next few months, probably closer to fall. After some searching and reading on here, it's not a great idea to be running that size of tire on the stock rims. So I'm going to replace my rims with these, provided they fit with no issues:

Is that the right bolt pattern? 8X6.5"?

Will I be able to run this tire and rim combo with no clearance issues?

Thanks guys

Taht looks right. You should have no clearance problems with 285s. I can clear 265s (inch shorter) on my 2wd no probs. Our 05 & 06 Chevies, which sit notoriously low, both fit 285s without rubbing. IMO youll be okay.

285's are fine on stock wheels, weve put probably 20 sets on different stock wheels on different trucks, but to each his own i guess, just aint worth it to buy new wheels when 285's fit fine on stock wheels.

Yeah, I'm sick of looking at the rusting/flaking paint factory rims haha. I'm going to get rims for this truck sooner or later so I figure I might as well get them when I get the new tires.

well that makes since then, just didnt figure it was necessary to "just" buy wheels cause you bought a tire 2 sizes bigger.

"Fitting" the tire on the wheel and how it performs going down the road are two different things. I can wear pants three sizes too big and look cool (isn't that the hip style, these days?) with them hanging off my butt. OTOH, they don't do much for me in terms of covering up the butt crack.
