Will a GEN II driveshaft fit my GEN Iw/47RH?

I was just wondering if going with a GEN II driveshaft might work (2-iece ) in my GEN II truck.

I'd guess yes- unless the diffs are different? Are they both DANA 70's?

I was wondering the same thing for the front driveshaft since I've heard you'll need about another 1 or 2" longer one. I know my buddy with a 92 with a nv4500 has a 2nd gen front driveshaft on the front, but he said it was about 4" too long and he had it shortened, and then bought a new front yoke and u joint that would fit it, it is bigger too.

I've got a 2wd and was guessing the distance from the tailshaft to axle would be the same as a GENII truck?
