Why is nothing easy?

Are your springs worn out flat? What about taking them to Sacramento Spring in west sac to have them rearched for you?

The ones I took out had a 1 - 2" negative arch to them. I used the top leaf from another set of CTD springs and the bottom 5 from a set of lift springs that were on a BB 1/2 ton that I parted out, which took them from 1.75" arch unloaded to 4" unloaded. Now instead of the negative arch, they're flat. Total cost, about $40 for new center pins and spring clamps. Also, I rounded the end of the springs and put liners between the leafs, as per the article in the sticky.
I plan to do the same to the rear springs as soon as I'm finished with the front. I just need to bleed the brakes, install new shocks, put the cotter pins in the tie rod ends, set the toe-in, fill the front diff, grease it all up and I'm done.
What does Sacramento Spring charge for rearching and do they retemper them? If not, there isn't much point since they'll just sag again.

they're the real deal they'll produce you brand new custom ones if you want. They make and temper big rig springs mostly it looked like when I went in there.
They're very reasonable and honest, I'd recommend them just as you recommended L. Bros.
