funny thing is, when i went to look at the one that was $7500 or so he was not willing to negotiate whatsoever, and that truck was pretty banged up. the one i went to look at actually looked better in the ad then the one he wants 15k for!

where u livin'?

I don't know where you guys are livin', but out here in california (northern/central) this price isn't too far off.
My '93 D250 club cab sold for $9700.00! It had 203k miles on it, never been molested, and was in very good condition, not great. However, when people want these type of trucks, the sky seems to be the limit out here.
I had a '92 D250 standard cab, stripped down truck (ac/5spd/no other options) with 85k miles on it and sold it for $8k!
I guess living back east or whever the heck it is most of you live is a big, big difference!
I guess my advice to you would be advertise it in a newspaper out here in california Heck, if you have a few of them, retirement just might come early!

i drove all the way from huntington beach to san luis obispo to find my first gen. they are much more prevalent in central and northern california. i imagine it is because of the rural nature of that area. i payed about 9 for mine with 181k miles. it was/is in good condition for its age. 10 was my limit, and i would have payed it, if the truck was nice enough. problem was most of the trucks were beat up and overpriced.

My buddy bought a 96' ext cab dually 4x4 5 speed SLT w/leather and power everything with only 66K on it and paid $10,200. The truck was awsome, looked great. His first weekend with it he put a 5" exhaust on it that sounded INSANE.

I think eBay is the way to go, much better deals. He is the one who sold me the 89' for $500.

If the truck was truly "as new" and a manual transmission I'd buy it. You gotta pay to play.
