The symptoms, to me, point toward air in the fuel. But there's something common here; once the engine gets up to operating temperature, the problem goes away. So something is expanding and sealing whatever/wherever the breach of containment is, when it gets up to temp. I'm at a loss, but I do think it's a supply issue. I was wondering also about a fuel filter full of water, but if it was you'd have no fuel at all. And if any water made it through the fuel lines, you'd most likely have blown the tip off an injector or two . So, you'd have vapor, (white smoke) all the time. Timing is another issue, but why only just in the last week or so, and as our timing is fixed, (for the most part) again it would be a constant. Mmm...

changed the air, fuel, and oil filters last week new oil in it checked over all fuel lines again for air leaks. Talked to my friend the guy i Bought it from and he replaced the injector pump a few weeks before I picked it up. The truck has ran awesome the last couple days then today while i was pulling a loaded trailer up a hill and missed a gear down shifting hitting the throttle before i realized what i had done i figured i had hit roughly around 2400-2500 RPM the truck shook like in the past popped and blew out one of the biggest clouds of white smoke i have i think i have seen come from this truck. It has been running great otherwise now except for that occasion. I am lost even more now than before but hope to find the fix to this problem soon.
