Where To Get Replacement Leaf Springs Front & Rear?
Where is the BEST place to get replacement leaf springs for my truck? I have a 1989 w250 regular cab and would like to replace the front & rear springs with new heavy duty versions, in order to get the ride height back and more importantly for heavy loads & towing.
I know of no local options for purchase [am in Brookneal Virginia] and am assuming I will be ordering the springs from an online source.
Also, are rear coil-over shocks an option on our trucks with the stock exhaust? I ask because I noticed that the stock exhaust curves somewhat closely around the upper portion of the rear passenger side shock. If the coil-overs will fit, what brands do you all recommend? I’d like to add these in addition to the new springs.

Well, we bought some Skyjacker replacement springs for the front of our '93. The ones we got for the front, raised about 2 inches which is what we wanted. It leveled the truck so it wouldn't have a slight rake with the stock springs. The new springs are also "soft ride" springs so it really improved the ride! I think they are part number D200CS (2" lift and soft ride).
I can't imagine needing more beefy springs for the rear though. Maybe you could do an "add-a-leaf" for the rear if they're weak?
You can see a picture by clicking the link in my sig.
