Have to add my 2 cents... 91.5-93 regular cab w-350 drw copper or burnt orange with black rockstars and some 900-16 powerkings. Would have to stick with the good ole ve and getrag with some injectors, twins and a nice southbend con OFE.

But probably stick with the blue and silver that my truck was factory, just changed up a touch.

One major hurdle is down on my quest to have a similar truck

I'd like a 91-93 W350 club cab with the cab extended about 8" so I could put a bench seat in the back. Also 10 or 12 foot flat bed, D80, beefed and boxed frame, 6+ speed manual, or allison 1000 auto, heavier springs...

I like the way that short bed looks on the truck.

How did you address the fuel tank fitment ? What issues were there, that you didn't realize until they happened ??

Thanks

I had to dent in the top of the tank plus space it about 2" lower. My truck rarely sees anything other than pavement, so I'm not too concerned about that.

If that hump wasn't there it would probably fit back up at the stock height. I heated it up with a heat gun then stuck a 2x4 on top then jacked it up into the bottom of the cab until the tank cooled back down.

I swapped the straps front to back and the front I bolted one end to the frame and the other to one of the carrier bearing bolts. The now rear one I just reformed to the shape I needed.

Nothing really unexpected came up other than the tank issue.

hey-Hey!!!,
I have it with my 1990. It isn't perfect jus' yet. Add a water/air IC, and ladder bars to deal with spring wrap and I'm done.

For a second truck, a short, step-side bed Lil' Red Cummins Express would be nice. 47RH and 3.54's... probably want that one buiilt with a P-Pump'd engine and a set of mild twins...and a cam, and O-ring'd head and...
cheers,
Douglas

Nice innovatios, mr. Gots.

I thought you would have had a few problems with fitment and the fuel line locatons, but you've seem to addressed them all.

Most apprecitated !

With Pix to boot !
