Whats a used G350+205 worth?
I have a chance to buy a G360 and NP205 from a 90 truck.
For a trans and tcase you didn't get to hear before pulled what are they worth together?

Well, it just sold for $510. To much for me to just have sitting around. By the buyers handle I would say it is a salvage yard owner that will mark up and re-sell.

Parts are really not all that hard to find for the old 'rag...still, having a spare on the bench is handy. The combo is easily worth what it went for---the 205's that found themselves behind getrags had the highest spline count of all 205's, I think.

The gm from behind a TH400 uses the same large bearing as the getrag case. The gm uses a female input though, the shaft inserts into the tcase with no coupler.
Ford also used a big bearing case with a female 31 spline female input in most rigs (fords are also drivers drop instead of passengers though).
You can swap input shafts around from case to case as long as it has the right bearing size.

Grab the tcase and you can always buy a new input shaft. I did this years ago on a 205, converting it from a manual trans to a turbo 400.
If you know what size the inner and outer size of the bearing you need you can go to a good bearing supply store. It might take some time with the guy behind the counter, but usually you can find what you need.
