What year HX35?

What year hx35 do I want? Which one matches up to my downpipe? I don't want to do any modifications. Do I need the 94-98 or the 98.5-02? It's going on my 93 dually 5 speed. Thanks. I tried to search it but couldn't find anything.

The earlier one has the right plate already. Downpipe still has to move back about 1.5". The later HX35 can be fitted with the older plate, you just have to find or make one.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I just ordered 5x.012 injectors from Diesel Auto Power. Looks like you have the same combination. How do you like it?

Well, I'm looking for quicker spoolup with the Getrag...so a hx35 from a 96-98 is the exact same thing as a WH1C from a 94 or 95?

I forgot about the WH1C... it is the same as a 91.5-93 H1C, but with 12cm wastegated housing. Same 54mm compressor.

HX35 is supposed to be 56mm compressor. Same 12cm wastegated housing as WH1C. Early is 8 blade, later is 7 blade. Supposed to be a slight flow advantage on the 7 blade.

The 12cm housing spools quick! It is great with a manual. I knocked off the locking collar on the fuel screw, and chased the thread with a die. It didn't do a very good job, so the screw seemed to get tight between 2-3 turns. Didn't want to risk stripping the pump housing so left it there for now. Still impressive power with my injectors. At this point I can't ever get the EGTs past 1200, usually not more than 1000.
