What would you take...
...if you were picking up a truck you hadn't seen 1700 miles from home. I'm wondering what tools and parts I should take (or ship). Truck is allegedly well maintained and a good runner. I'm not expecting problems, but it is a 10 year old truck with 200k on it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re:What would you take...
Here are some of the items I keep on hand at all times in my toolbox. Fleetguard fuel filter, serpentine belt, extra water pump, fuel conditioner (aid in priming the system if a fuel filter change is needed). Gallon of antifreeze, gallon of Delo 400. If anything, I would at least take some antifreeze, oil, serpentine belt, and the fuel filter. Tools needed if something should happen to the above mentioned would be a 3/8 wrench to insert into the belt tensioner and get the belt on or off, and a small oil filter wrench. This is just some suggestions. I am sure others will chime in and give you some more ideas.

Ask if it has a decent spare or if you'll have to make allowance. He probably won't mention any old plugs.
