What Are These Two Wires ??
On son's truck, non-A/C cab with aftermarket air.
The fuse slot that says Heater/A/C is all burned and melted, with no wires going into the back side, where wires once were.
Hanging beside the fuse-block are two rather fat wires, maybe 10AWG.
One wire is brown, the other black with a pinkish-red stripe; they appear to be factory installed wires, instead of something owner-added.
These two wires have been connected via an inline fuse-holder, with a 30 amp fuse.
What are these two wires??
Could they be the two wires that should have gone to the missing heater/A/C fuse position in the fuse-block??
Thanks.

I Just Answered My Own Question
After some examination, I discovered that the black/red-stripe wire is the HOT side, when ignition ON.
The two yellow crimp-connectors looked like someone with a sore mouth had tried to crimp them with their teeth.
Both were brown and crispy, like they had been awfully hot.
With the key ON, I was wiggling these connectors, and started getting a rapid clicking, somewhere in behind the glove-box vicinity; it was sort of like a relay clicking.
I cut both bad connectors out and replaced with new crimp-connectors, using my "squeeze-em-til-the-water-squirts-out" super-heavy-duty crimpers.
Now, when I turned ON the key, the blower-fan started working, for the first time since we got the truck, and YIPPEEEE!!!! , the A/C compressor clutch started clicking in.
I cranked her up; and, lo and behold, the aftermarket A/C started blowing almost ICE-COLD air.
Mission accomplished.
