What oil do you guys use in your D70?

I just acquired a Mag-hytec rear end cover that will allow me to have a total of 6 qts of oil in my rear end. I currently use a regular gear oil. But I want to put the very best in it. Its a regular open rear.(wish it was a anit-spin). Do you guys think a synthetic is the way to go? And if so what brand are you running and wieght? Thanks for your opinoins!

I think they recommend 80-90w for normal use light towing and 90-120w for towing.

EDIT: I think most use Royal Purple for the heavy weight

I cant remember the brand name of what I used to ues in my other truck. I got it at wal-mart or autzone. It was in a little white and blue tube that you simply added to the oil. Seemed to work perfectly! I know its very vague! Sorry.

You use the 80-90wt gear oil in the transmission? How is that working out for you? I just replaced whatever was it in when i bought the truck with 5w30W Synthetic motor oil "was told that was the way to go" but not the transmission is very notchy feeling and is having problems with 3rd gear. I even over filled it with 5 quarts.
