What kind of Tires should I buy ???
Hey all, I was going to get some NEW SKINS put on the "Dually", any suggestions ???? I want to put the same original size back on 235/85/16....My choice was going to be "Bridgestone" Dueler A/T Revo..E rated ??? Remember, will do a little towing, most will be Sunny days......Just thought this tire had some Good reviews and if it did get out in bad weather or off road ( NOT A CHANCE ) I would have a good tire.....(1992 W350 Dually) I'm NOT too worried about price...I mean they all seem to be about $20.00 a part......What would you choose ????

I have the revo's on my pickup, its not a dually, but I love them and they handle great. Dry, wet, snow no problems. I havent had them that long as for milage goes, but I think they will last for quite a while. Just my 2 cents.

My truck (not a dually) has the Michelins on it the previous owner installed, and I think they great tires, but I'm choking at $893 for new ones.
I might go with the BFGoodrich TA KO all terrains for $692. I've had them on my Dakota for 13 years and they are great. But then, I tend to take a powerline road if it looks interesting, so take that into account.

I'm satisfied with them. I like the tread, farely aggressive compared to a couple other E-rated I looked at. Good winter traction, in the rain, the front stays tight, I have duals that can break loose going through a puddle at speed. Had 6, wetter, round bales on it twice without blowing them (only 45-50 mph).

Thanks for the info, Redleg. After your post I checked the Cooper site and I see several varieties of Discovery tires, from more street-based to more aggressive tread, including one that I like that is designed to minimize nicks, cuts, etc. Called something like Discovery St-C (or something). Is that yours?

I'll have to look, it's parked without a rear end right now. Burned up the tranny and now I suppose the diff. pushing massive amounts of snow with those tires.

Without a doudt the Michelin LTX M/S. I used these tires since 94 and have 1,168,000 miles. Other than the origional Goodyears, this has been the exclusive tire. I average 100-110K mile tire life, they run smooth and I only rotated and balanced every 20K miles.
You pay a bit more than about any other tire, but worth every cent, IMO.
