That white crew cab is NICE.
Looks like a 2wd to 4x4 conversion with a '92/'93 LE dually tailgate.

For a second I thought Trashingcows painted Patches all white!

well, spent the last 24 hours pulling a motor/trans out of a wrecked D250 with Chip, member "ofelas", drove down from Canada to do some wrenching(and plenty of drinking) found out last night that you cannot pull the motor/trans out together without cutting the front half of the trans hump out. 2 death wheels later and we were home free! after the engine hoist tipped over and about crushed Chip that is!

had to get a shot with the trucks! That big green beauty really makes mine look like the turd that it is!

I find jacking the cab up a few inches and sticking some 2x6 blocked stacked up under the cab mounts gets me the extra room needed, without using the death wheel.
That works best with the fenders off though.

I like driving trucks with some patina anyways, looks good to me.

Good to see Chip is driving the heck out of the green W250.
We had a few beers and checked out the Stowe car show a month or so ago with our old Dodges.

Dunno how it would work on a CTD but my best friend and I used to pull 440/727's out of C body cars with a backhoe that had a clevis hook welded to the back of the bucket. Worked slick and no worries about anyone getting squished.

that would work great, I've pulled many a motor with an international 460 loader or a bobcat. unfortunately, didn't have those at our disposal. instead we used a harbor freight engine hoist that would almost settle faster than you could pump it up with the weight of the cummins on it.

oliver, whole front clip was off the truck, truck was wrecked and floor pans were shot anyways, so the 5 minutes it took to make a few cuts seemed to be the easiest route. I can't believe he drives that thing cross country with no cruise control and a factory bench seat! my back hurts just thinking about it! that truck is one of the best examples of a 1st gen truck I've seen.

edit: in clear lens, not orange. JCW has orange ones

Today, I did what I've done for the last 6 years... every two years.

Replaced Crappy chinese parts on my truck. This time, I got smart (or so I hope).

Replacing it with spicer parts. We'll see.

Funny thing... I greased the daylights out of those joints, and each time, it always failed on two opposing caps, usually one with zero grease in it. Leads me to believe that there is no passageway through the center of the cross to the one cap, inevitably causing it to fail. I didn't pay for them the last time, as Autozone warranteed it (2 year warranty on U joints), and gave me new ones for free. Still a huge waste of time, IMO.

Non greaseable. The seals are really stout though, and everthing feels extremely precise. Time will tell, eh ? Either way, never again will I buy autozone U joints. They're simply Crap.

Yesterday afternoon I leveled out my flatbed, now it no longer looks like my frame is bent. Also replaced my radiator. A year ago I bought the spectra thru autozone, it went exactly a year. Then they tried to jack me around with the warranty. I was going to go with the Mishimoto, but I opted to try the KKS radiator, as it was half the price. It looks to be well built. It did not come with the rubber mounting bushings. While I had the rad out I also replaced the core support bushings.
