What did you do to your Gen 1 today?

Last week I holed up in the shop for 4 days straight for spring service time as well.
I had a Dodge friend in town and we just wrenched on Dodges and talked Cummins for 4 days.
The white crew needed, rear brake work, Injection pump re-seal with a 366 spring thrown in at the same time. It also got a junkyard steering box and steering stem.
The black crew needed a little wiring work, but after the winter of 2013/14, where I did a ton of work to it, it was in good shape.
My '95 12V 2nd gen tow rig needed e-brakes cables and e-brake bracket in the truck, trailer brake controller issues where solved, new LP, fuel lines, and fuel filters…..whoops 1st gen tread!
Then my '80 Ramcharger had NO lights in the rear so a bunch of dash wires where chased down and a new headlight switch got that good to go.
Once it warms up enough to take them for a good ride to warm up the oils, oil swaps will begin.
I already bought the 12 gallons of Rotella 15W-40 for the 6 BTS and 12qt of Mobil 5 W-30 for my Getrags.
I also got to drive the white crew for the first time in 4 months.

I was ready for some ME time in the shop, I was joined by friends, my daughter and my dogs.
It was AWESOME.
I wish I had another 4 days to get started on the huge pile of parts called Moonshine.
At least I had time to service the stuff that is basically ready to drive.

Well today I swapped in a NEW Napa Master Cylinder. I was going to get one locally here in BC, but the best warranty I could find was a 1 year only! Just across the boarder at the US Napa I could get a new unit with a lifetime warranty! Seemed like a no brainer to me. 
Gave it a coat of paint, but as other s have found the lid leaked before I even got it on the truck.
Here you can see the reason for the leaking. The old "Made in the USA" seal vs the new generic no name brand.
I cleaned up the old seal and installed it on the new cap and so far no leaks.

The other night I started obsessing over a Hydro boost conversion for my crewcab. I then saw a craigslist ad for a 2000 cummins ram being parted out. Several E-mails, and a phone call later had me over at the guys house pulling a hydro boost set-up!
Was a little disappointing that it was leaking out the back once I got it out and could inspect it.. So I wasn't going to take it, but he was willing to sell it at core charge value. Figured I went 45 min out to his place I may as well return with something.
Nice guy, he bought a nice 90 2wd 1st Gen with the insurance settlement from his 2000. We chatted diesel trucks for a bit before I headed out.
Now to see if I can find a reseal kit for this unit, and then a "How to" on how to Re/Re it.

Seems the toughest part of the re-seal is getting that darn staked push rod out. Was brain storming with my friend and neighbour this afternoon and we think we have a plan to get it out. Should be backyard engineering at it's best....and if it works, I hope it will help others.

The 6.7 pump has 7 blades on the impeller compared to 5 on the 5.9 pump. They also are deeper as they don't have the diffuser on them, they fit up closer to the block. Pulley size is the same so it doesn't spin any faster. It should move more water though.
