To DW, the rap of metal getting hammered and the rap of a diesel is about the same. She did notice it was making enough noise to be concerned and attempted to turn around and go home. It totally failed crosswise on the county road. Gave her a chance to learn how to put out the flares.
Must have been at least 4 neighbors stop and offer help.

I installed my homemade turn signal stalk. works really good. And it isn't plastic. see my build thread for a picture.

dropped the cummins in the ford
and a bunch of other boring tertiary steps in between.
edit: just realized this thread is for first gen dodge trucks, not first gen dodge truck motors going in fords. *tip toes out of thread quietly*

Nice fit on the AC pump but the turbo looks to be a tight fit. Could just be the angle of the picture though.

View from the other side. I'll get a turbo slaved in with pic sometime next week.

I suspected the reason for the different accessory geometry was to get the AC compressor out from down low. I could see the potential interference issue that might arise.
I hadn't noticed the rear dump exhaust manifold though. I can see why you need it down low at the back like that.
Looks good!

My snow blower supplier broke the clips on my tailgate today as he shut the gate. Thats what i get for not being there when he fixed my Toro in the bed.
Anyone know if theyre still available? .. Been a while since the thread was put in the sticky.
Tried removing the , latch but it appears, the red plastic shroud under it has to come out first. Ideas how to get thr shroud out without damage ?

The motor was stock out of a 1991.0 D250 with 85K miles. The brackets are all from Autoworld conversions. On the fords, the dodge A/C pump location hits the crossmember. It can be cut out and boxed but I didn't want to hack the frame.
The Turbo should have plenty of space, it is one of those industrial/RV type manifolds. The dodge manifold puts the turbo right into the HVAC box, so this is one of the solutions.
