What did you do to your Gen 1 today?

Looks a lot like my install.... Yeah I like the idea of having hoses you can get from a parts store pretty much anywhere...and when I had to replace one of them last year it was a simple order. I had a bit of an issue getting the pressure line to clear the inner fender and into the steering gear, but managed to get it in place without any metal modification....but did have to trim the splash guard sheet.
As almost everyone who has done this upgrade realizes after the fact is you just don't realize how under powered and inadequate the OEM vacuum set-up is until you go to hydro-boost.

Yeah when you have a mish-mash of years, makes and models on the truck sometimes it takes a few minutes to remember what those parts originally came off of so you can order things properly.

And I have to say I'm liking these brakes so much I'm thinking I'm going to do this mod to my crew cab.

Finished it up yesterday. Tested it with my jumper cables and a spare 12v battery, and whadda ya know ? It worked.
Whether or not it works inside the truck, I guess I'll have to wait till it stops raining to find out.

LOVE IT!
My best friend totaled his late model Lexus with an interstate deer encounter. I loaned him my spare rusted out, beat up '94 Camry (it was free for the hauling) until he could get a new one. He said he loved driving it - the deer ran away from him when they saw him and at 4-way stops every one would let him go first even if he arrived last...

Got out and pushed around the 10 inches of powder we got in the past two days in an old 1st gen last night.
The 9 FT fisher blade made quick work of it. I got it lightly stuck for a minute but got it out by throwing a shovel full of fireplace ashes under the tires.
I should really throw my chains on the back tires for the rest of the winter.
