Took the dogs and wife to the beagle rescue group meeting to let them see how well our two new boys were doing. Afterwords, we went to the most southern part of NJ to the Cape May lighthouse. It was warm enough to walk the beach with the mutts. Cloudy, cold, but no rain down there. Have to go back in the warm weather.

Looks nice and quiet on the beach at this time of year. That looks like a good outing...did you take the brick down?

I wondered about that. I’m not sure what the springs would even be off of, I have just been looking for some used 2.5” wide leaf springs on some classifieds sites around me. I found some off of a old F-250 that I’ve been considering. I thought maybe taking 2 leafs out of the front pack and putting one from the used pack in their place might give me ~ 2 inches of lift up front. I don’t want to go any more than that. I may have to see how much it would cost to have a local spring shop re-arch with a couple new leafs.

Went to AutoZone prepared to pay $90 for 5 Gallons of 15w40 and saw they have Rotella on sale for $64.00!
That gives me 3 gallons for the motor and 2 gallons for my leaking Getrag

I use the newest Delo 400 SDK with a Donaldson Blue oil filter. Looking at that list I wonder who makes the Napa oil? I’ll have to do some searching.

Does this apply to our old tractor motors or just the new modern engines? Lol

What Did I Do To My First Gen Today?

Hitched a car trailer to it and towed my '71 Dart to the body shop to get some issues with the new paint job straightened out!

Can't wait to start swapping some straight body parts onto the truck it so I don't have to drive with a bag over my head! LOL

Welcome to the forum Butterball. Nice to see a Cummins pulling a Mopar!

1stgen'93, I'm thinking NAPA is Valvoline but don't quote me on that. I have to go by there today and I'll ask.

Angry Johnny, Modelo Chelada makes a good breakfast drink. I like to think of it as Extra spicy V-8...

And after not having my truck for 3 months, she's my DD now while I repair all my other rides.

Glad to see you made it over here, welcome to the forum.

Yeah that truck looks a little more beat up than I initially thought from your other pics. Doesn't change my mind about what we discussed though.

Once you get the parts swapped over from the other truck it will look a whole lot better.

The sticky at the top of this forum has a lot of info in it.

Oh yeah, feets comes around here once in awhile too so you've been warned.

Nice dart. I had a 69 GTS model back when I was young, dumb, and .... well you know how it goes.

Why is gas so much less where you live ? Are you buddies with AJ ? Another Florida resident ? That would explain how clean that truck is.

Gallon of regular is hovering around $2.69 here. $.40 less a gallon by you? I paid $3.09 for diesel a couple week back.

Crazy how pricing is so far apart, depending on the state.
