Plowed a skiff today.
Didn't charge any of my customers, though. Everyone got a freebee but me. Makes them love me, getting an email, or text, that there will be no billing. Got to bribe people to love me, cause I suck as a human
Oh well. Maybe someday ill get a freebie. Hopefully, she's a hot looking brunette.

[QUOTE=1stGEN'93;3342406}That definitely is a shiny, new 4” exhaust! I still need to add an inch to my downpipe to push the second piece back a little. Maybe it wouldn’t affect flow to put a dent in the pipe to clear the transmission crossmember, but it makes me feel better to just add an inch. I didn’t pay $300 for the mandrel bent system from Diamond Eye to put dents in it.

I bought that same D.E. kit for my '89 RC.
I promptly cut it up and put small dimples in the tubes where I need too. It is just part of making it your own.

I just love this topic "climate change"
If the glaciers melted 50 million years ago and in the process created what are today the Great Lakes in the USA how can you tell me the climate hasn't changed. How ignorant can people be to think the world hasn't naturally been changing from the beginning of time. But know it's all because us humans are to blame for it, we've been melting it since we were cave men!!

This afternoon I loaded up the tools because tomorrow at work we have to pull the DEF tank out of one of our brand new but out of warranty forklifts at work. It is a 2017 model with 640 hours on it.
Threw a code today for DEF Quality out of sensor range. Have had this happen to 3 other of our new machines also. If were lucky its a harness or plug issue if not pulling the tank to change the sensor is in order. First thing though is to drain it and flush with distilled water and rerefill fil with fresh DEF and run it to see if it clears.
Things like this make it oh so clear why i love my 12valve and drive it daily.

My Wife's Equinox recently went haywire and all the electronic gizmos quit. The radio(???) had to be replaced. The radio???

I was thinking the other day that all my truck really needs to run is fuel. The 12v to the valve just to open it and can be bypassed just by taking out the plunger. If necessary it can be push started so a battery isn't even needed.

Theoretically you can. With no fss and a manual transmission all it would take is a rotation or 2 of the crankshaft to get it going. I was told when I bought mine that when it is running, you can disconnect all electrical connections and it will keep running. As far as the automatics go, I believe that some types can be pulled or pushed, but require some speed for that to happen. I don't know enough about them to say for sure...Mark

I have started several manual 12Vs with a little tug from another truck and popping the clutch in 2nd or 3rd [depending on the surface and the speed] once the truck was rolling a bit. Or I have done it by parking on an incline and just rolling down it and popping the clutch.

Did something I never thought I would have to do today.
I was parked outside last night and the temperature got down to 6*F overnight. I've lived in central Texas my whole life and have never experienced single digit temperatures.
I had my block heater plugged in but my fuel gelled up and my trusty engine stopped cold on me after firing it up this morning and was deader than a door nail.
So, I made a trip into town in the wife's P.O.S. and got some Diesel 9-1-1 and a new fuel filter. After much cranking and bleeding (both the fuel system and my vascular system) she finally came back to life.
I thought this was something only you Yankees and Canucks had to deal with.
