I would rather have cats than rats. But then the Coyotes keep the cat population down here.

Every 2 years I do a complete electrical system maintenance program. I call it complete, but it's mainly the fuse panels and battery connections that get done. Since I live in the "Rust" state, moisture, and salt air is the enema.
So, I remove all the fuses, clean each fuse location with deoxit, clean each fuse tang, spray some deoxit GOLD in there, and put it all back together. Hard to imagine, but it does need this every few years.
Same goes with the fuse panel and connections under the hood off the battery. What a PITA.
Oh well, mostly done for now. Peace of mind in return.

It has been snowing up here everyday for a week.
So I removed all my 1st gens from the road last week. I don't drive them on the salty roads, I take the winter to work on them and get them ready for next spring/summer.
The '95 workhorse is now the daily driver. I need to clean it up and hit it with some oil again.

I swapped my after market gauges from my two pod Banks dash pod that sat on the right and a single to a 3-pod that sits on the left. Much nicer! For one, most all the gauges are together now and 2, it is now in my line of sight. Nice to have 5 gauges all together and easy to glance at.

I need to do a bunch of maintenance on patches next summer....mostly exterior paint and surface rust starting. Now that I live up north with long winter months of driving I have to keep up even more with the OCD maintenance of the vehicle....like T-man.
