Drove down to Minot, ND to pick up lumber and supplies for a new deck. New wood stove for my shop and supplies to redo the ensuite bathroom.
Very wet, heavy lumber! Had the wood stove and deck blocks in the box but even with 80psi in the rear air bags I couldn't get the truck levelled out. Should of loaded the lumber further back I guess
2nd pic is my wife drinking her morning coffee on the new deck lol

Yep a buck a piece, you load! Seriously though the lumber in the USA is about half the price it is here

It looks like she like the new deck, but it looks like you lost the trailer.
I took my daughter and several of here class mates to the lake for a school end of year field trip yesterday.
One of the kids in the back seat, was explaining how he knew how the window cranks work, as his grandpa has a truck "just like it".
The other two kids looked in sheer AWE as the window came down as he cranked on the window crank.
It was hilarious to watch this happen!
ALL the kids wanted to ride in the old crew cab rather than the line up of Subarus, Hondas and other little cars.
My daughter was really proud as she explained to her classmates all sorts of modification we had done to the truck over the years.

Great story! My daughter turns 5 in a month. She was in the shop with me at least half the hours building the crew cab. Her and her little brother always want to take the old crew cab when we go out rather then my 4th gen or wife's escalade. My daughter is always showing her friends what she "did" on the truck.
Nah I got the trailer back, nearly have the deck done
Thanks Mike for the compliment!

My daughter [11 years old] spent 5 hours on Sunday helping me get the Crew ready for the Field trip.
Our "big" job was to install the rear seat belts, since the back seat is usually full of English Mastiffs, not kids!
She helped me pull a set for a '89 parts truck that matched the interior color.
Installing them took much longer than I expected, with the air compressor for the air bags mounted on the tool shelf on the floor behind the rear seat.
The bolt holes for the seat belts where hidden under the tool tray, and also all full of bed liner style paint.
She spent the whole time in the shop helping me, handing me tools and asking what and why I was doing the things I was doing.
She helped me put Fluid Film on the door strikers / linkage to make them work smoothly before installing the rear door panels, checking the tire pressure, ETC
She then detailed the back seat and windows, while I installed the rear inner door panels, window cranks and inner door panels.
Glad I got the window cranks in as they where a BIG hit!.
It was also cool to listen her explain stuff to the kids, like how the third pedal we installed last winter, makes the truck more fun to drive and we now get 3 MPG more as well over the old auto.
Seems like she retains a lot of info. from all those winter nights in the shop with dad.
Dad was pretty proud too.
