Yesterday, I took my daughter and one of our dogs to the Stowe Antique Car show.
We drove through town in the Parade like we do every year.
This year we took the white crew cab.
It is a pretty stuffy sort of car show so we stuck out as the only lifted truck in the parade.
I saw one '70 Road Runner, a '72 Challenger, two '72/'73 Chargers a few 60's Chryslers and a sea of Brand X stuff.

Drove the brick around today.
Haven't been in it much, as I've been working and tooling around in my other ride. Always a bunch of fun cruising around and having people stare at the old pig..
Chiropractor when on vacation, and told me to raid his garden while he was away. Must have been 200 more of these left, and some are beginning to return to the earth. If there's anything that I can say that I like about summer is the veggies... Dragged these home in the dodge, although I was a little unsure if the truck could handle the weight...

Got off the phone with Mknittle a few minutes ago. He sent me a pic of him in his first dodge.

My dad met my mom in a bar. he said he "picked her up". I never realized that he used a wheelbarrow to do so...

Scap metal ain't worth much these days. But I did discover that separating and sorting it for cast parts, and brass and copper sure can net you a pretty penny....never used to spend much time separating it.
When I was cleaning out the garage and shed for the move I had a bunch of left over plumbing pieces in brass and copper, and some misc car parts that were cast aluminum and stainless....I got 50-60 bucks for those few pieces, compared to the 12 bucks for all the scrap metal. '
