Drove this little ........ home today. Psycho wife declares she's been communicating with my recently passed pooch, and that this "fitten" was sent to us by my dog (whom is buried in my backyard). IDK, wife is either losing it, or I'm just not "aware"...

Doesn't like noise of the cummins yet.....

Finished installing these on my Fuso box, and next truck to get tires will be my Doodge. really meaty tire, supposedly an "all season" compound. I dont get more than 20K on a set of tires anyway on the box, so we'll see..

Nice looking, super grippy, tire from what I understand.

BFG Commercial Traction

Then I saw this dude tooling around. 61 or 62. Only got a glimpse of it from the front, so couldn't really tell. Either or.

Very sweet set-up!! Would be great if you did a quick write up as a separate thread on what you bought, how you installed it etc.

I have been wanting to do a mod exactly like what you did, but with a new job, and moving 500 miles very soon I just have not had the time.

Well after hauling my Ramcharger home a couple weeks ago, Ol' Patches had developed a squeal, whine from the turbo. It was a lot like when you put a piece of grass between your thumbs and blow, but more evenly pitched. It would start to make noise at about 8lbs boost, and up. So figured it had to be forced induction related.

So yesterday I decided to tear things apart and find the reason. First I pulled the air cleaner, since it's been in there about 18 months. Thought maybe it was causing a restriction? Went for a drive...same noise still there. Then next step was to pull all the induction piping and boots and check for cracks, splits or loose clamps. Nothing obvious there either. So I cleaned everything, inside and out and re-installed. Ran out of time before I had to get to bed...2am shift starts suck!

So on my way to work this morning I get on it a little once it warmed up...no more noise! So clearly it was a loose fitting, clamp, boot etc. regardless the noise is gone.

Well I'd say I like your "kitty" but don't want to incur the wrath of the mods.

Yeah, she's a keeper ...

well, that is as long as she is healthy. Quarantined right now because we don't know her history. Once she gets her health evaluation, we'll let her meet the dogs....and our other cat.

Kittens are fun, but I can see already that this one is going to get into trouble quite a bit.....

That was a custom license plate I had on an orange '78 Powerwagon almost 20 years ago!
Everybody thought it said PUMPKIN, but I knew I was PUNK'IN.

God, if we only took pics back then.

one day, I'm going to search through my 10,000 photos of family stuff, and find pix of my old trucks.... (hopefully)

Either we have a runt, or a FELV+ Cat. So small, I'm afraid I'm going to hurt her just by picking her up...

Baby animals can be scary to handle. so little.
My Chihuahua shortly after we got her we got her. She was 11 days old when I picked her up at my wife's work. she was curled up in a baby's sock.

well, pulled the old girl out of the barn today for the first time in about a month. been working on this '03 cummins swap project and haven't had time for her. it's amazing how just driving a lap around the yard puts a smile on my face. realized i've missed driving her and i'm actually excited to spend a couple days on the road with her again.

anyhoo, getting ready to head back to Florida from South Dakota so I wanted to investigate/fix my leaking hydrobooster. I picked up the booster last April from a junk yard for $20 and just threw it on(pretty pleased that it lasted me this long). I noticed it leaking a couple months back and just didn't have the time to take it off the road long enough to fix it. Found that its leaking from the seam where the two halves of the booster are bolted together. I guess there is a big o-ring type seal between the 2. So i hopped on www.piratejack.com and ordered up a reseal kit, $41. I figure at $61 total investment, i'm still about 1/4 of the way to the cost of a new unit.
