wh1c any good. i got one from a swap meet the guy said it was from a 96 5.9 i got the number from the turbo but i dont see any houseing numbers
here the numbers on the tag

Its not really an upgrade on an intercooled first gen except it has a 12cm exhaust housing over your current 18.5 cm..
It has wastegate you'll have to setup and it'll spool up alot quicker than what you have now but you may have EGT problems in the higher rpm's if you ever get bigger injectors and stuff.
Put it on there and wire the wastegate shut and see how you like it
