Well found my idle problem, one more ?
Wannadiesel suggested that the problem with my idle might be a bad idle spring. So I ordered a new one along with a seal kit and took the top back off of the pump this morning and sure enough the idle spring was missing! Clearly I was in to big of a hurry to reassemble the pump after my spring install and messed up, , rookie mistake I quess. My question is can I just completely remove the high idle screw, or is there a proper adjusment procedure?

Yeah, get rid of it. Apparently it just limits total throttle travel. I've got mine backed all the way out and didn't notice a difference in daily driving. Did notice a difference in max rpm driving.

O.K. just put her back together and left the idle screw out. Seems to run alot better with all the parts in the pump that are supposed to be there, imagine that. I also took the fuel pin out and polished and lubed that up, and replaced the o-ring, so now that moves alot better. And on the plus side I am pretty good at taking the top of the pump off now, so I quess it wasnt all bad.
