He was shooting for those numbers with the HTB2.. might have gotten there with the other pump mods... I know he's shooting for those other 1st Genners with twins... Just going to take some tuning...
Maybe he's just saying.. at 400hp... mine clutch is going to fall apart and I'll get to see how tight the head gasket is glued on...
If he's only going to make 400 with twins.. I should be able to make 600 on my VP with the stock charger....

NeedMoPower, thanks for the reply, I was thinking of going with an HTT hx35/40 mod kit for the top turbo and an htb2 or 3 on bottom, I wonder if that would work for what I want, good driveability on the daily basis. I would like to know what kind of power I am making now, "would someone like to take a wild guess" if the clutch would hold and then compare it to twin set up after I install it with the head and cam. I am probably going to order a SOUTHBEND clutch next week but don't have any idea which one to get.

The project is 90% complete. All piping is complete and the only thing left to do are the oil feed and return lines. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I should be driving it again this week.

Everything is finished except for the oil retun lines. John was about to weld up the oil return line, but the regulator on the acetylene bottle broke. He sent it off to get rebuilt today so maybe we can finish Thursday or Friday. I cant wait to drive the truck again!

Running a twin setup using a htb2 on a 2nd gen could be a little difficult, but not out of the question. Alot of people use an ht3b for the bottom turbo. They can be found real cheap (around $500) and are readily available. Alot of your larger 4wd Case and New Holland tractors run an HT3B or an HT60 so that may be another place to look for a turbo, but you'll be hard pressed to find a tractor of that size in the Iola area. I would probably look at an hx40 or something like it for the top turbo though. I'm also not sure if I'd be taking my advice on twins. I have never heard of a person running the twin setup that i'm trying so it may not even work at all. There are many more people who know more about twins than I do.

Did you ever pull the gauged plate that covers the dual wastegates? There is alot of improvement to be made there.

Yeah whats the skinny? I heard you had it running, but where having some issues. Did you get all of the bugs worked out? DO I need to take mine to the shop so you dont blow my doors off?
