Inverted is the easiest way to describe it.

Don't forget to shorten the "socket" stick a bunch. I shortened mine until it raised the idle, then lengthened it a turn until the idle went to normal.

Heck, mine gets touchy with just the stock setting. And I already have too many RPMs for the valve springs anyway.

Good omd for Mom's truck, though. Help with her high quality hillbilly rebuilt auto with the Extreme Slopomatic torque convertor.

Wannadiesel, is that your truck in the pic in the link? My throttle linkages have never looked like that.

Nope. That's BigWaylon's truck. The reason it looks different is that it's an early style throttle lever. The newer style works the same way, though.

Cool. Been cruisin forums for a while and this is the first time I've heard of this mod. Cheap and easy, the way I like 'em (mods not women) .

What, if any, are the draw backs - other than a touchy throttle?

No downsides brother, just nice full extension on the loud pedal. Make sure the throttle limit screw is backed out flush with the casting (as in NO LIMIT!).

Well, I guess there is ONE downside, harder than ever to keep control of the foot feed!

I actually used to have a preference for that variety of woman, back in the day.
