Water in fuel valve

My valve at the bottom of my fuel filter is leaking. I cleaned it very good with cleaner and compressed air and reinstalled it.It still leaks. Is there a filter without the threaded hole on the bottom I can use,and eliminate this.Or do I have to purchase a new valve.I never used the valve in the last 10 yrs,so I can do without it.(I tried to search on here, and I keep getting a server error pop up)Thanks
