351cw, its better than the 341cw (03-04.5CR).

Its not a direct bolt on but not alot of work to make it fit either.

If you search 351cw you will find many who have installed one and what is all needed.

Ya they bolt up easy enough but a different intercooler pipe is needed aswell as a flange welded to the dp of the exhaust. The 04 was a split year, early 04 had a 341 and late 04-07 had the 351.

Ive found one for $350 with less than 100,000 miles on it with just a touch of side play. is this a good price?

What you need to do is this . Fuel pin ,366 spring ,and a different turbo I went with a hx35 and put a 12 wg housing on it and my crewcab tow's very well .I also have 37's and 410's to give it that extra grunt .but the biggest improvement was when I added a 13 dollar spring to the pump that just makes it rev very easy .

Why not try a 16cm or 14cm turbine housing? Cheap and easy to do, and will work well with stock Bosch sticks, and a un-tweaked pump.

Since you are a 5 spd, go with the 351. You need the quicker spooling it will give VS the 12cm on a hx35.
