I'm loaded pretty heavy with all the refrigerant tanks and such but my neighbors kid can walk me to the 60' mark with his bicycle.
It's gotta be the engine management as there's no smoke at all. Once it initially gets moving, that boy squats and gits!
I agree, they seem kinda soft off the line. That where I got him, drilled him off the line and he could`nt play catch up.

The PPE tuner alone adds 300hp/600tq. No the trans wont last long at that level, but it will run 12's.

Good Kill!

It is also nice to have people chime in saying the DMax is good also. Other boards will love you if you beat the competition but give somebody on the other side credit

The Isuzu I thought were Australian?

sorry guys, i own both,03 dmax and the 92 cummins.one truck will not do everything.the gmc will pull like a train, for 0-100+ and it gets decent mileage, rides soooo nice, after 1500 mi,you still feel great, but i hate to think to have to work on it.the dodge is like the older brother, that beats the crap out of you,but its strong, simple, and cool.there is NO WAY the dodge would even have a chance in a drag race, though,by by....oh and as long as my truck is mostly built in usa,im happy.i.e. toyota puke.

I dont know about you all..... but the Duramax has proven itself in my book. I have seen some very good numbers and also seen some very high mileage. They stand up just fine.

I still prefer the Cummins. I can tear it down and put it back together in a parking lot if needed.

Sorry, but I think my 1996 Impala SS is a REAL CAR. RWD, LT1, holds 5 passengers comfortably, body on frame, etc. It's 2 tons of fun!
By the way, the Duramax isn't bad, and they will scoot.

I dislike GM's very much, but I would totally drive a 96 Impala. I just wouldn't tell many people.
