Voltage overcharge need help

My truck has been over charging (like14.5-16)volts for a few weeks and I have changed the alternator and the voltage regulator both and I have checked the voltage coming from the key switch and going to the regulator and it is getting 14.8-15volts so everything should work right but its not. Does anybody know what the blue wire coming from the alternator going to the intake heater controller module does? I longer have a grid heater or the relays for it. Could some body please give me a clue of what to do.thanks

First, run a ground wire from the engine to one of the regulator mounting screws.
Second, parts store regulators are crap, get a factory Mopar regulator from a junkyard.

I looked at the charging schematic I downloaded and it does not show any wire going from the alternator to the intake heater controller. It does show a wire ( J2 14 DB ) going from the alternator to the running lights. If adding the ground wire that Faith, mentioned doesn't solve the problem our disconnect the wire and see if that helps. It says; to daylight running light module in parentheses ( Canada only ). Just my two cents, Mike.
