Pensacola Diesel is an awesome source, atleast for a VP. Never bought any thing for my truck from there, but have done a couple VP44's from them. Very good people to deal with, I highly recommend them.

To me that says the HR is worn out and doesn't make a good seal once its hot. Obviously getting a seal kit and replacing them isn't going to fix this.

So is the only option a new HR? If so I priced one from the bosch dealer a while back and it was $1200. So obviously one of these $400 rebuilds doesn't include these hard parts, but is anything done to them?

FWIW, Maxx250 used a reman IP from Pensacola a few years back. It arrived VERY quickly & fired up within minutes.

Wentland Diesel in Milton-Freewater Oregon built my pump. It was turned up 15% and after the warranty was up I tweaked it a might. I don't beleve they build the more "exotic" pumps. I've got about 100k on mine and it is as strong as ever.

Yeah I knew they made the 14mm but haven't actually needed a 12mm so haven't looked more than I was just curious.

Matchew, are you running SVO or BIO? What is the alternative fuel doing exactly?

Good info, guys. Pensacola Diesel seems to have very reasonable prices if they do quality work. I remember driving by the Wentland shop a couple of years ago when I was up there----I should have stopped in.
For those that have had their pump rebuilt(not exchanged), what was the approx. cost for parts and labor? Anybody know the deal on all those VE cores on Ebay?
