I think at that price I would buy one just to have a spare. Is there somebody we should contact to encourage this, or what?

Your not the only one, I paid $740 a few years ago to have mine rebuilt. I'd probably buy 2 at that price.

I called about a new pump from Piers and the only had remans. in stock. This was about a month ago. I think the price on there web is old

So how much are their remans? Do they do anything "special" to them. Did they say they could order new ones?

Yeah at that price for a new one I would buy at least 2!!

Ya you would sertainly would fill a lot more compfortable with throwing a, full fuel boogy, on one with 0 pump ware in it!........Probably end up with a fue more HP on the dyno too!
