valve cover torque specs

valve cover torque specs

is thier a torque spec for the valve covers or do you just make them tight cause soon im gona be putting some valve cover gaskets and was wondering?

I just get them gootentite- snug enough to not back off, but not tight enough to strip anything. a good twist with your hand in the middle of the wrench should do it, unless you have huge wrists, then choke up on the wrench some more.

It seems that almost every external bolt on our motors is 18 ft/lbs.
