I'm curious, the repair you guys are talking about is just for an oil leak and not in relation to low vacume condition ? My truck has the brake light comming on and since the vac pump has an oil leak and the light is comes on intermittently I'm thinking it's running low on vacume. I was planning on running a vac. check but I figured I'd just pull it and replace seals since it's leaking oil anyway. Thanks

Thanks Monty;
I guess I'll run a vac. test and see what the readings are, I've wondered if the vac. sensor (sw) isn't bad. I haven't noticed any pwr bracke or assist problems. The damper doors on the heat & air seem to be working fine, may be the sensor. Have a good day.

Monty, if you have a Kaman dealer in your area they can order the seal for you. their part # is 28x38x7AV. Also if you contact International Seal they will get you in touch with a dealer in your area. They want to sell through a dealer, but were helpful in finding one in my area.

You can find them here.

Hope this helps.

Hey Guys,

Just did mine today because I needed to change the PS pump(reman'ed,autostoned-$62.00).
Boy,nothing like PS when you have a 1000lb motor over them steering wheels...I'll tell ya'...

I got the "Int Seal & Packing " oil seal part #28X38X7DN from a place called Motion Industries right here in town.

They had it for me the day after I ordered it.

They matched the O-ring for me today...the package says...
1/16 x 2-1/8 x 2-1/4

The package they sold me had 5 O-rings in it...and,as you guys know,I only needed 1...

If anyone needs one of those extra O-rings,send me a "self-abused stomped envelope" and I'll be glad to send one along...on the "NC" plan(no charge,ya'know?).

Send me a PM and let me know your gonna' speak for one,and I'll let everyone know when they're all gone.

Thanks for all the help you guys have given me...

Vinny
