Upgrade intake horn

Can a stock 91.5-93 intake horn be flipped to face the turbo side? Ive acquired one, but I want to put my turbo on soon, and am going to wait atleast 3 weeks, if not till summer, to put my intercooler in. I figured I could weld up some exhaust tubing with bends and some beads to hold silicon adaptors on them.

I just set everything on the pump for 'Kill' and let my right foot control the gauges It only takes a few seconds to remove the upper elbow, though.
Factory IC from a 3rd gen Cummins/Dodge. It's way (too) big

My boost guage "Reads" the intakes Vacuum/Boost using the factory tap in the intake manifold just below the OEM intake horn location. As such, I did not see any change what so ever. I am however pretty sure the turbo, aftercooler, and associated plumbing DID see a pressure drop from the lessening of the restriction presented by the former intake horn.

yes I had to cut the last 4'' of my frame off and custom fab some new bumper brackets....and cut the grille all to heck and back, and bend the bumper filler piece into a pretzle.....unless your truck is a POS like mine, I'd recommend a powerstroke or 2nd gen dodge intercooler since it'll fit w/out cutting the frame...plus, I'll still be the only guy running one of these beasts

When I get around to inter-cooling, I am just going to mount the inter-cooler in front of the grille, behind the grille-gaurd.
Once I get the inter-cooler mounted, I will build a custom grille in front of, and around, the inter-cooler.
On the Ford, there is less than an inch space between the grille and the A/C condensor.
Also, that old Ford diesel radiator is HUGE, spreading from headlight to headlight, and from barely missing the hood to six inches below the front axle.
It doesn't leave any territory for inter-cooler plumbing and the like.

I'm, definitely in the market. The guy Tim (making the stainless "tubz," as he calls them) told me someone reports an issue using the on the powerstroke IC. I don't see how, but I'm standing by anyway. If that or something else doesn't work out soon I'll be fabbing up a one-off myself, I guess.
