Updating the interior - New seat (pics)

Well after riding in my truck for about 5 hrs on a road trip my back was hurting bad.. due to the warn out bench seat..(I have a bad back)

So I got some bucket seats out of a Ford Van and i fabbed up some brackets and redid the inside of the truck.. ( shhh.. John my buddy did most of the work due to my back still hurt)

1st pic is tearing it all out

2nd pic shows the brackets

3rd pic shows the problems we found under the carpet ( so we had to fix that also)

Here is link to all I have done so far:

I think I've got Ford Van seats in mine. Comfy enough, but I'm getting real sick of hitting my head getting in. Nice work-- what is that shiny stuff? Accumat?

the shiny stuff. is Window Flashing that I got at Lowes ( very cheap )

it is in the roof section.. I checked and it is almost exaclty the same stuff as Dynomat just not as thick.. so why pay a couple hundred when it only cost me $40

That looks really good, especially compared to the way it used to be!

I've been out west for so long I forgot what living in wet places does to vehicles.

Nice work, I'll bet she's much more quiet now!

Where did you get the vinyl floor mat and the padding? Looks real good, I have been wanting to do the same the bed lined floor gives off too much heat in the summer and is way too loud. Good job to both you and your buddy.

That roll of duck tape must be a friend of the truck by now. Be honest how often do you use it?

BTW your truck is looking good.

hahahhaha.. actually I have a roll in every car I own

to my surprise I have not used it on the dodge yet.. buthave on others..

Lets just say I know a guy that hosts a show called: xtreme4x4 tv.. and when we went wheeling to break in his new rig "AJ" he broke his serpentine belt.. so we made one out of duct tape and zip ties and it worked

Duct tape is always a freind..
