updating to a Borgeson, but which one
The Borgeson steering shafts have me confused! 940 or 943 on the part # that is best suited for our 1st gens?? 2 rag joint is the 943, and the 940 is single. Which determines what is best for my needs? There was a post earlier by someone, something about a danger alert to the Borgeson shaft. What was this concerning, the 940 or 943? Confused, man!! This will go on my W250, for mainly hunting trips 4 wheelin. Thanks, guys.
Ps. Is Jeg's the best place to score on one of these??

Unconfirmed Expert Advice
My understanding is that some Dodge steering shafts are able to be taken apart above the rag-joint, by driving out a pin; whereas, others are solid, one-piece right down to the rag-joint.
That is why Borgeson makes both, one that retains the rag-joint, and one that eliminates the rag-joint.
Honestly, I like the looks of the Flaming River shaft for Dodge, as it has a spring-loaded shock-dampening built on the shaft that is quite impressive.
Borgeson is a super good engineered unit, and that is what I have on my Ford (I got the deluxe version that they don't offer in Dodge configuration.); but, when I get one for the wife's Dodge, I am gonna go Flaming River.

Two Joint Extreme-Duty Steering Shaft assemblies for '79-93 Dodge trucks eliminates both the factory flex joint and the rag joint with a second u-joint. Use this assembly if you use your truck for very rough off-roading and worry about the rag joint failing. You must verify that the rag joint can be removed from the column before ordering.
in most cases the following is enough as it eliminates the troublesome factory flex joint, this is the one i ordered with a new rag joint

The Borgeson replacement assembly incorporates a needle bearing u-joint, a flanged end to accept the OEM rag joint, and a telescoping shaft. The telescoping shaft is a safety feature not found in the stock OEM assembly. The assembly will accommodate body lifts up to 3".

I got the 2 U-joint for mine since it sees quite a bit of heavy off roading. Mine is also a 93 so I would assume (not garauntee) that you could use the two joint. The top collar was definetly tough to get off. I had to use a 4" grinder to cut the upper collar off
