Yes that is right, there is circuitry inside that dims the LED's to work in the Marker mode and gives full brightness during the Turn. Stop mode.

I am really impressed with the advancements they are making in High Flux LED's they will soon be as bright or brighter than incandescent lamps. I can't wait to see the headlamps, there are already made for the military and are used on some of the HMMWV's

These lights also look great on a 2nd gen, May replace my 1st gen with a set when I get her running again.

I like these, I want my cab lights to light up the hood, too. Might run the ground for the outer two lights to the signal circuits so that they flash when the signals run, like the front side markers. I want to be able to have anyone who says "I couldn't see he was turning" to be declared legally blind.

You don't want hmmwv jim, I'm in the army and drove one for a year, no getup and go even with the turbo, the seats suck and it gets realy hot in there even with the ac on

sure do enjoy your write-ups jim. Makes me want to try to attempt to do some mods to my pride and joy. Just always spooked to try but with your write-ups maybe ill give it a try. thanks for the time you put into your posts so that the rest of us can follow your lead.
