I had a good clean under box trans cooler that many dealers installed on the first gen trucks. I sold it to a customer of mine as his fan had seized and the fans have been discontinued for some time now. Anybody replace just the fan motor on one of these? I've got it apart and see that it is made by Valeco, but I see no part number. Anyone have a part number for the fan motor?

I have one of those coolers as well but have never had a problem with it. Is there any chance that just the bearings could be replaced? Are they ball or oil-lite? I was thinking that maybe a little import cars cooling fan would be about the same size and maybe a motor or something from one of them could be used? Just some ideas let us know if you source that motor. Dan

I got a new fan from a dealership about 6 months ago, did they discontinue it since then? This fan was even in town, I had it the next day, wonder if I got really lucky or what.

Yep that's the one I got from the Mopar warehouse here in Denver.
