i think its a good idea in general, but just on that truck. older beaters or mudders, yes....late model pick-ups, maybe not so good. Does work great on plow trucks and stuff like that, as it basically holds the entire body together. we had a mid '80s GMC truck at work that we line-xed the entire bed and the entire sanmder it carried around to keep it from falling apart, seemed to work well.
On the same topic, in 4 wheel and offroad this month, there is an article towards the back where they bedliner an entire chevy pick-up or something like that, magazine not in front of me.

it was taken early morning after some rain... that's water drops on the windows not rhino.
so the general idea is that it would be ugly... an idea if there is a paint out there that is supposed to stand up to abuse well? i just don't want to paint the thing and be afraid to work with it.
